Brooke Monroe

Brooke Monroe was a three-sport star at Morton High School and by her graduation was widely regarded as the school’s best ever softball player. She set seven school records in softball and twice was accorded all-state honors. She was a starter in 12 IHSA Class AA State Tourney games.

Earning a scholarship to Indiana University, Brooke spent four years as the Hoosier's starting catcher, logging 201 games and 607 at-bats. She ranks 4th in career home runs, 4th in doubles and 5th in RBIs. She was a three-time All-Big Ten choice and got All-American honorable mention in 2001.

Obtaining her Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management in four years, Brooke completed her Master's Degree in Sport Pedagogy at Purdue in 2004, where she beame a full-time assistant softball coach.
