Doug Lee

Doug Lee rewrote most of the record book as a 3-year starter for Washington High School. His 27.0 ppg during his senior year of 1982 remains a school record. That same year, Doug led the Panthers to a Mid-State 10 title and an IHSA regional championship and he was accorded all-state honors. His 1,558 career points were No. 2 in school history at the time of his induction.

Playing his last two collegiate years at Purdue after a transfer from Texas A&M, Lee led the Boilermakers to consecutive NCAA appearances. During his senior year, Doug captained Purdue to a Big Ten title. He was named Most Valuable Player by his mates and coaching staff.

Drafted by the Houston Rockets, Doug played a total of 11 professional seasons, including five NBA seasons with Houston, New Jersey and Sacramento.
