The 1976 Rams were led to an undefeated Conference Championship by All-Staters Alan Allen, Jeff Stokowski, and Alfred Moton. Key victories were a 28-0 win over Spalding and a last second 8-6 win over Central. They began the state play-offs with a 26-14 win over Normal Community before losing to Danville.
