Inductees Under the direction of legendary coach Walter Grebe, Farmington High School's football team began an amazing six year run of success starting in 1945.
The 1945 team went unbeaten, a scoreless tie with Dunlap in the next to last game of the season the only blemish.
The Farmers posted three other shutouts and only Canton, a 21-19 victim of Farmington in the annual meeting between these two bitter rivals, scored more than one touchdown against Grebe's team.

2009 Tri-County Male Athlete of the Year SHERRICK MCMANIS In November, Northwestern University senior cornerback Sherrick McManis was selected firstteam All-Big Ten by a media panel, becoming the first player from the Tri-County Area to be an All-Big Ten selection since future GPSHOFer Tim Simpson (East Peoria/Illinois) in 1991.
