Eddie Jackson

Eddie Jackson, a 6-foot-7 rebounding defensive and offensive standout, was one of the most talented players ever in Peoria and Bradley University basketball history.

He scored almost 1,000 points at Peoria Manual High School, and then became one of Bradley's most prolific scorers and rebounders in the 1963-66 era. He scored 1,176 points over three seasons of play, leading the Braves in scoring in the 1964-65 season with 464 points.

As a ferocious rebounder he ranks with the best to ever play for Bradley, averaging 8.1 and grabbing 657 during his career.

Jackson earned many individual honors while at Bradley. He was named All-Missouri Valley Conference in 1965, and the teamís most valuable player in 1965. In 1964, he was named to the All-Tournament team in the National Invitational Tournament.

Eddie averaged 14.9 points for his career at Bradley.
